“In Year 2008 I attended child nurturing training to one of ECOLI ‘s ECD program that inspired me to establish and run an ECD center to support many children lacking ECD service in my community. With endless support from ECOLI I managed to establish ECD center and improve my career that enabled my ECD center becoming the model community based ECD center in Arusha. Now the center provides quality ECD services and support other teachers to improve neighborhood ECD centers. Thank you ECOLI for supporting me, my fellow ECD teachers and caregivers to become social changes in provision community based ECD services.”

“ECOLI met me in year 2016 when I was Form three after hearing about me and impoverishing situation hindered my educational prosperity. I had no hope for my future education journey, but with support from ECOLI I managed to pursue my education to university level. Now I am taking my first Degree of Medical Laboratory Science in Hematology and Blood Transfusion (BMLS HBT) at Muhimbili University - Tanzania. This support is worth to me, I couldn’t be able reaching here without it. Thank you ECOLI for supporting over 186 underserved boys and girls like me.”
-Isaac's Parent
“Before this program, my son Isaac (8 years old) was performing poorly in school. But after the remedial program, he has been doing well, and I have seen improvement in his writing, solving mathematics question and reading. Now, Isaac loves going to school, and making learning materials at home. He is creative and cooperates in his school’s homework. I am able to support him on things he understands and help make materials for his study needs. I attend parent meetings and talk to other parents about what they should be doing to support their children’s education. It would be good to have this program continue into higher grades, because these same improvements should happen in later classes too.” – Parent of child in one of Primary school where we implement Early learning project.

“I have been struggling to establish my welding workshop for about two years. I heard about ECOLI’s youth support program and reaching them. ECOLI has supported me to achieve my goal through helping me to explore local opportunities; being innovative in designing different models of furniture and establishing a small welding workshop. Now I am managing my own workshop, selling metal furniture to local customers and earning income. Now I have confidence and courageous to support other youth to reach their goals by training them on welding work and establish their own workshops too”.
